Time to go on the court

Finally the time to go on the court has arrived and in a very short time we will face the first game against China, a dangerous team because of the mobility of their centres away from the basket and their three-point shooters that can increase the score needed to win the game. As normal, there is a bit of nervousness, tension, emotion, even in some of our experienced players and veterans, so the first game is always a bit special.

Juan Carlos Navarro feels bit better, still far from his best form but at least now he has no fever and the back pain has not increased.

We begin this adventure with great motivation, but also with great patience, knowing that we are in the toughest group, against opponents none of which starts the game against us already defeated on paper: the goal is to qualify for the quarterfinals with the best possible ranking and, in any case, to regain the health still not optimal of some of our players and along the journey looking to find our way of playing and compete even taking into account the fact that many players in our starting line-up will not be at their best during this competition.

I'll update you on here and try every day to give you some news and thoughts.

Here in the village life is hectic, the competitions have already started, some participants are disappointed, some happy, some are already leaving.

It 's an experience that truly is worth living to the max and it deserves to be told separately.
